Abstract

This article explores the impact of ChatGPT, an AI language model, in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) writing. Employing a descriptive qualitative method, it discusses ChatGPT's role in enhancing language learning through personalized guidance, automated evaluation, and real-time feedback. The study delves into the application of ChatGPT alongside other AI tools like Grammarly and Google Translate, highlighting its capabilities in analyzing, enhancing grammar, offering feedback, and supporting various aspects of EFL writing. The results section presents the researcher's firsthand experience with ChatGPT, demonstrating its effectiveness in providing detailed feedback on grammar, lexical resources, coherence, and cohesion in written assignments.
