Abstract

Actually, teaching English in primary schools is a very new practice that is occasionally employed to draw in more pupils. In this instance, Liando contends that it is necessary to take into account introducing English instruction at a young age, specifically in elementary school. In order to improve student performance in higher education in terms of their English ability. Primary English instruction should be viewed as an inventive approach to enhance instruction. Broadly speaking, English (Liando, 2000). There are a few issues with its execution, though. When teachers are not recruited with sufficient quality, difficulties occur. Because the teacher only knows a basic amount about teaching English, the lecture is boring for the pupils and eventually veers off course. Actually, every level of English instruction requires a different approach. There are, in fact, benefits and drawbacks to teaching and mastering English in primary school. Long-term, it might yield better outcomes, but it ought to be considered that a well-designed syllabus and prepared teaching materials are essential, and highly qualified teachers. If not, this level of English instruction will simply undermine its objective (Mustafa, 2008; Alwasilah, 2000).
